What is snitching? Everyone we’ve talked to all have different definitions of what snitching is. The only common thing in everyone’s definition of is divulging information to authorities. We give our takes on what snitching is (and isn’t), and we also talk about “Warrior Style” police training after the murder of Atatiana Jefferson.
This week Ann and Dan dive into whether or not a mother addicted to heroin, fentanyl, or any other drug should be charged with a crime if they continue to use while pregnant. A lot of people don’t see the ugly reality of newborns going through opioid withdrawal. It’s not something you’d ever want to see. We also discuss addiction in general and compare the opioid epidemic to the crack epidemic that destroyed our community in the 80s/90s.
This week Ann, Becky and Dan revisit paying college student athletes with California being one of the first states to sign legislation allowing student athletes to be compensated. Some states like New York and South Carolina are slated to pass similar legislation too. Unfortunately the NCAA is fighting back!
